By fostering patients' independence and involvement in their treatment plans, SpineCare encourages an early, safe return to routine activities — including work — and lessens the possibility of chronic spine problems. In a recent evaluation of the program, 88 percent of our patients had returned to their work duties, with only minimal modifications to job requirements, within 6 months of their injury.
SpineCare is dedicated to working closely not only with patients, but also with businesses to help them find ways to control costs associated with employees' spine problems and other health-related issues. This work includes SpineCare's "Train the Trainer" program, designed to help small-business owners control their companies' healthcare costs, and an ongoing commitment to maintaining close contact with employers when working with patients who have work-related spine injuries.
