Performance Enhancement Program Exceptional Staff

Staff in the Performance Enhancement Program team — Medical College of Wisconsin physicians, certified athletic trainers and physical therapists — work together to ensure your training experience is as beneficial and rewarding as possible.

Physical Therapists

Physical therapists aid athletes in their recovery from injury or surgical procedures. Using the latest equipment and treatment techniques, these specialists in the area of sports medicine focus on getting the athlete back in top shape and back to activity at the appropriate time.

Certified Athletic Trainers

Skilled trainers work with athletes to keep them focused on goals and develop a competitive advantage. Our structured program ensures athletes follow proper exercise and stretching methods as they develop the muscle groups needed for their particular sport. Athletic trainers are also available to help athletes prepare prior to an athletic event.

Dietitians and Nutritionists

All athletes benefit from the nutrition assessments and counseling provided by our registered dietary experts. Their evaluations help athletes develop healthy eating habits to achieve optimal athletic performance. Advice is tailored to each athlete’s needs and addresses a variety of topics including body composition, muscle and weight gain, hydration, and nutrition planning for endurance training and events.
