Is this program intended just for high-performance athletes? No. This program provides high-quality services to the full spectrum of running athletes — from those new to the sport to elite level competitors. TOP
Will this program teach me how to “run right”?Gait analysis will likely be part of most runners’ programs. We combine the information we capture on tape with physical examination findings to design appropriate strength and flexibility programs. Sometimes this involves running-specific drills to enhance characteristics of a person’s stride. However, a “perfect” running style that can be applied to every person does not exist. TOP
What is the difference between this clinic and information I can get from running magazines or Internet searches? Each runner deserves individual attention to his or her personal make-up, fitness level, training goals and other factors that make the runner unique. Information that one obtains from a magazine or Web site can provide some good general pointers. The services that are provided at The Runners’ Clinic are individually tailored to you and provide more specific and effective ways to address your needs than any article aimed at thousands of people could. TOP
How do I schedule an appointment?Call our Sports Medicine Center at 414-805-8602. To better facilitate your services, a physical therapist may speak with you to determine your potential needs. TOP
What should I bring to my appointment?Wear or bring comfortable exercise clothing and your running shoes. Some runners like to bring in a current running log for closer review of recent training. TOP
What if I have other questions about the Runners’ Clinic?Call Carrie Truebenbach at 414-805-8602 or Contact Us via our online form. TOP
Where are you located? The Runners’ Clinic is located in the Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin Sports Medicine Center, 8700 W. Watertown Plank Road. TOP
