Froedtert’s costs per case, after adjustments for the severity of illness, are 11 percent below the market average. Beginning in 1997, our price increases have consistently been the lowest in the metro-Milwaukee area.

Independent third parties confirm we are one of the most cost-effective providers in eastern Wisconsin:

Froedtert’s charges for outpatient surgery rank at about the middle when compared with other metro Milwaukee providers.

In more than 80 percent of our outpatient and inpatient cases, Froedtert charges less than or the same as most other comparable hospitals, including Aurora St. Luke’s and UW-Madison Hospitals & Clincs.
