This digital room decreases patient wait time in the radiology exam room. The radiographic machine is completely digital. By means of a digital detector, the image can be almost immediately viewed and or transmitted for the technologist, radiologist or clinician to review. Post processing of the image allows the radiologist to manipulate the image to aid in diagnosis.
