Facility Tour
PACS Reading RoomIn 2003, the Radiology Department advanced all modalities to a film-less environment called the Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS). PACS allows images to be distributed electronically and interpreted on computer workstations. All studies – MRI, CT, ultrasound, X-ray and nuclear medicine scans – are available instantly, allowing faster analysis and prompt feedback to physicians. PACS also permanently stores images, eliminating the risk of lost records.
