Surgery and Chemotherapy Treatment

Small Bowel and Most small bowel cancer is treated with a combination of surgery and chemotherapy. Radiation is used in only a very few circumstances. Appendix cancer is also treated primarily with surgery and chemotherapy. 

Although these cancers are not common, our Colorectal Cancer Program physicians see many cases every year due to regional referrals to obtain second opinions and tap into their expertise.
