Advance Practice Nurse/Physician Assistant
Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin employ a large number of Advance Practice Nurses (Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Nurse Midwife, and Nurse Anesthetist) and Certified Physician Assistants (PA-Cs) within southeastern Wisconsin.
Through The Medical College of Wisconsin's adult patient practice, there are a number of specialty patient opportunities, as well as limited opportunities for internal medicine, family practice and primary care, known as Medical College Physicians (MCP). As an academic medical center, we are committed to teaching the next generation of health care practitioners, but recognize that there are a limited number of student slots available.
Nurse Practitioner (NP) and physician assistant (PA) clinical and clerkship rotations with MCP providers must be secured through the process of college and university student program coordinators networking with the MCP NP & PA Student Placement Coordinator. MCP will no longer permit school placement coordinators and individual students to contact our faculty and staff to secure rotations.
The MCP NP & PA student placement coordinator is Lori Sadowski. Lori can be reached at 414-805-6523, or firstname.lastname@example.org.
The following information must be reviewed by the student prior to the start of the clinical.

An affiliation agreement and program memorandum with Froedtert Health and the Medical College of Wisconsin are required for each student clinical experience and are required prior to student placement. These blank documents are available for reviewing student/instructor contract information only and are not meant to be completed by individual instructors or students. Contact Jane Hendricks to check on the status of an agreement between Froedtert Hospital and the school.
