Optimizing Anticoagulation Medication Therapy to Improve Patient Outcomes
What attracted you to Froedtert’s pharmacy residency program?
Froedtert’s unique and progressive pharmacy practice model is what initially attracted me to the pharmacy residency program at Froedtert. The pharmacists’ constant involvement in direct patient care through daily rounds, medication reconciliation, and discharge counseling, to name a few, consistently reinforces pharmacy’s role in patient care. The residency program offers a great balance between clinical, administrative, and mentoring responsibilities that allows residents to tailor their residency experience to their interests and needs. Finally, the dedication of the management team and the preceptors to the growth and development of the residents was one of the most appealing aspects of the program.
