PGY1 Residency Project

Implementing Quality Tracking and Optimizations in a Clinical Acuity Tool

Froedtert implemented a Clinical Acuity Tool in March 2013 that pharmacists use to increase efficiency and prioritize workflow. The next phase of this project is to create a dashboard to validate the quality of pharmacist interactions and provide tool optimizations. The dashboard could be used to assess compliance to Froedtert policies and track pharmacist impact on quality metrics such as Core Measures and Value-Based Purchasing. By doing this, we can ensure that patients receive consistent, high-quality care

Why did you choose to pursue a residency?
