Why did you choose to pursue a residency?
I wanted to pursue a residency because I wanted to continue my clinical and professional skill development. I knew that I enjoyed inpatient pharmacy and I wanted to opportunity to gain experience in multiple inpatient areas to become a better-rounded pharmacist.
What attracted you to Froedtert’s pharmacy residency program?
The Froedtert residency program offers a wide variety of clinical rotations that are led by residency-trained and well experienced preceptors. Since Froedtert is a large academic medical center, the focus on teaching is evident in all healthcare disciplines and allows for close collaboration of patient care. In addition, the various projects and responsibilities that the residents have throughout the year help to develop professional skills that are necessary to become a great pharmacist.
