Workforce Health implemented the first-ever City of Milwaukee Health Risk Assessment for employees in 2011, with 90 percent of the 9,000 employees and spouses participating.

Workforce Health provided every participating City of Milwaukee employee and spouse with one-on-one health coaching about their HRA results.

  • The City cited a 14 percent decrease in employee share of health costs for 2013, noting its wellness program and targeted disease management among the contributing factors.
  • Eighty-seven percent of participating employees rated Workforce Health as
  • “excellent” for their professionalism.
  • Ninety-eight percent of participants said the education given to them was tailored to their personal needs.

Tailored Label Products, Inc.

Tailored Label Products, Inc. is recognized nationwide for its high performance, custom labels created for its customers in the automotive, medical, electrical and industrial fields. The company also takes a tailored approach to improving the health and well-being of its employees.


Serigraph

From 2010 to 2011 employees of Serigraph lost over 1000 pounds in our customized weight management programs. The Workforce Health programs included educational presentations, individual assessments and a one-on-one consultation with our onsite dietitian.


Wisconsin Lift Truck

Wisconsin Lift Truck worked with a number of corporate wellness providers over the past five years, each with only mixed results. The company’s unique workforce is 80 percent male on the road 90 percent of the time, and this presents a particular challenge for engaging employees in wellness behaviors. Workforce Health introduced a comprehensive program in 2010 that included education on fast food, a BMI reduction program and individual and team challenges to keep them motivated and engaged which resulted in a 37 percent success rate in BMI reduction. In 2011, the success rate increased to 50% for the BMI incentive earned through this program.


Glenroy

Glenroy is a printing company in Menomonee Falls that has over 175 employees. Workforce Health provides onsite nursing and dietitian services that have lead to decreased utilization of outside, less cost-effective health care services, higher wellness program participation and improved biometric scores as compared to previous years’ HRA results.
