Denise S. Uyar, MD

Denise Uyar, MD, is a gynecologic oncologist within the Froedtert & MCW Cancer Network. After receiving her doctorate from the University of Vermont in 1997 and completing a four-year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Vermont, Fletcher Allen Hospital in Burlington, Dr. Uyar continued her training in gynecologic oncology with a three-year fellowship at The Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Uyar then joined the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Division of Gynecology Oncology at the Medical College of Wisconsin in October of 2004.

Dr. Uyar has many published articles and has research interests in early and advanced uterine malignancies and the human papillomavirus and its effects on the genital tract. She also has served on several committees within the Froedtert & MCW health network, including the Faculty Council, The Library Council, The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Education Committee and The Physician Satisfaction Committee. Active in the Milwaukee community, Dr. Uyar has given numerous continuing medical education lectures at Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital.

Dr. Uyar sees her patients at the Clinical Cancer Center at Froedtert Hospital.
