Dr. Clark Gamblin

Role: Cancer Physician and Researcher

Clark Gamblin was born and grew up in Mississippi and got his medical degree from the University of Mississippi. He trained in surgical oncology at the University of Pittsburgh, where he also obtained a master's degree in clinical research.

Dr. Gamblin came to Froedtert Hospital in 2010 to help create and lead the MCW Division of Surgical Oncology. He prides himself in the caliber of doctors and staff assembled in the division and the impact they are making for patients. He's an internationally-known hepatobiliary surgeon with a clinical and research interest focused on cancers of the liver and bile ducts.

For many years, Dr. Gamblin has been inspired by the stories of the cancer patients he treats. It was his idea to launch this blog so patients could share their stories and experiences with others.
