Description

Our mission is to provide a safe confidential environment to provide support, understanding and education to people with behavioral health issues and caring family members.

All behavioral health concerns are welcome.

This is an adults-only group. There is no fee and pre-registration is not required. Guest speakers may be present on occasion. The group is led by the participants in attendance with facilitation by a peer-support trained community volunteer. Attendance varies ranging between 5 – 10 attendees. The support group is not considered treatment; we strongly recommend that members seek professional help for their mental health issues.

Agenda

  • Group check-in
  • Members discuss their week, challenges, and provide support to one another. If needed, facilitators may choose to incorporate a topic question. • Ends with a check-out question, typically “what is something you are looking forward to this week?”

  • Do not share names and phone numbers without the person’s consent.
