This support group is for people with Parkinson’s disease and their families.

Parkinson's disease is a progressive neurological disorder that affects the brain. The disease is characterized by a shortage of the brain chemical dopamine, which controls people's movement. The four primary symptoms of Parkinson's are tremor; rigidity or stiffness of the muscles; slowness of movement (bradykinesia); and impaired balance. These symptoms can range from very mild to severe, and can cause difficulty in walking, talking or performing everyday tasks.

Meets the second Wednesday of each month.
