Establishment of a National Biorepository to Advance Studies of Immune-Related Adverse Events

This study is being done to answer the following questions:

Why do some patients experience serious side effects from immunotherapies, and why do other patients not experience these side effects? How can we identify these patients and prevent, reduce and treat these side effects more effectively?

To answer these questions, it is helpful to have clinical data and samples collected from patients who have experienced these side effects from immunotherapy. For example, by studying blood samples collected before and after side effects occur, researchers can look for markers that may predict whether a patient is more likely than usual to experience these side effects.
