Summary
The purpose of the research study is to learn more about an investigational treatment, plasma (the colorless fluid part of blood), in treating traumatic injuries to the brain. Investigational means that plasma as a treatment for traumatic brain injury is under investigation and is not approved for this use in the United States by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The goal of the study is to see how fresh frozen plasma (FFP) given for moderate to severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) shortly after the injury will affect the brain. The study will also look at your injury recovery.
