Summary

This study is being done to answer the following question: Does giving BMX-001 during the usual treatment of cisplatin chemotherapy and radiation therapy result in less severe inflammation and mouth sores, a common side effect of cisplatin and radiation therapy that causes pain and difficulty swallowing?
