About
Dr. Ioachimescu joined the faculty at the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2023 where she serves as a professor in the Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism and Clinical Nutrition. Dr. Ioachimescu completed her fellowship in Endocrinology at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. She has longstanding experience in pituitary disorders, including pituitary masses and rare conditions such as acromegaly and Cushing’s disease. She takes a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, working closely with neurosurgery and other specialists. She is passioned about clinical research unveiling novel therapies, personalized treatment in patients with pituitary tumors, long-term health effects of pituitary hormone alterations, and the impact of demographic characteristics on healthcare delivery and research.
