About

Dr. Obeidat works with adults in diagnosing, treating and managing Multiple Sclerosis and Immune Disorders of the Central Nervous System. He received his medical degree with honors from the Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2008. He then joined the graduate program in neuroscience and physiology at Wright State University (WSU) in Dayton, Ohio where he received a PhD in Neuroscience and Physiology in 2013. He completed his neurology residency at the University of Cincinnati in 2017 as well as fellowship training in Demyelinating Diseases and Neuroimmunology, also from the University of Cincinnati, in 2018. Dr. Obeidat is an advocate for medical humanities and believes in the power of patient stories in shaping a successful, and a long-lasting patient-doctor relationship. In his free time, he enjoys reading and writing personal reflections and narrative medicine in its various forms.

I always get exceptional care! All staff from check in, to nurse, to doctor to check out were the very best! Compassion, caring, listening and communicating is the number one priority! Dr. Obeidat is a smart and caring doctor!
Exceeded expectations
After seeing the nurse, we waiting 20+ for the doc to show up. The student physician - whatever you call them - came in first, along with the med school student observer. She did not do a good job introducing themselves and their role, so I was frustrated that the doc wasn't there. Finally they reminded me it's a teaching hospital and they worked with Dr. O, but they should explain this up front. Dr. O was awesome - really a good listener, answered all my questions, didn't rush us at all. He gave me some hope for this awful disease I have.
I got excellent care from everyone from the front desk to the care professional that were involved in my care,the doctor,Np,Np assistant, medical student were all amazing, Dr Obediat was so so caring and concerned abt my care after visit he walked with me to the front desk, how cool is that! Thank you everyone!

This doctor takes interest in me as a whole. Not just my health issues. He was interested in my personal activities that help to keep me motivated to proactively work on my health goals. He asked questions to learn about me. He allowed me to ask questions and discuss concerns without judgment. He allowed me to express my opinion about my previous visit when he had a student doctor with him. We discussed a plan for my continued care until my next visit. Altogether it was a very positive experience and I will definitely recommend him to others in my support group.
