Excellent physician and surgeon. Her departure is a big loss for Froedtert. Hope her replacement is as good. She will be missed! I was blessed to be under her care!
Dr. Istl is fantastic!
Dr Istl great provider concerned about my needs from getting CT to finding a doctor to provide for me at home 3 hour drive always able to get appointments CT, Labs, and Dr appointments all in one morning!
I cannot believe how impressive Dr. Istl is. Not only is she a top surgical oncologist, but she is so much more. Dr. Istl has an old school "bedside manner". She has deep empathy for my situation and I never felt like just a "patient". She is great at communication and that relieves any anxiety I have. I have never seen her have anything but the utmost respect for everyone around her. It is truly a gift to have her as my doctor.
