I have been a nurse practitioner in the area of breast care since 1999. Prior to 1999, I was the nurse manager of the Breast Care Center involved in various clinical and community outreach projects, breast cancer regarding breast cancer screening and breast cancer research. My current practice is focused on the care of women with benign and malignant breast disease. My practice also focuses on breast cancer early detection and prevention in women that are at risk for developing breast cancer.

Anna Purdy, RN, MSN, APNP, joined the Department of Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1990. She graduated from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1987 and completed the Adult Nurse Practitioner Program at Marquette University, receiving a Master of Science in Nursing in 1999. Anna’s practice includes breast oncology, in which she sees patients with both malignant and benign diseases in the outpatient setting.
