The whole time I was at the Cancer Center, I was looking at all the other people there, waiting to get their lab work done, while a lot of these patients looking so frail and ill. I felt so sorry for them all. Yet every medical staff person seemed so caring for everyone. Even me. I felt everyone (receptionist; lab technicians; doctors' assistants; nurses; and doctors) was exceptional!

Dr. Dhakal is an expert in his field and I appreciate that he knows I am a Medical Technologist and converses with me appropriately. He knows I am interested in knowing everything I can about my cancer and he is always willing to answer all my questions. Also, as soon as the nurse was finished he comes into the room. No waiting ever. I wish the lab was a little faster when servicing patients. I usually end up waiting 25-30 minutes before my draw. The waiting room was not full at the time I arrrived.

when issues arose with diarrhea, he recommended further testing with a gastroenterologist. I do respect a doctor who recognizes limitations and is not afraid to make referrals.

Dr. spent sufficient time with me. He did not exude the feeling that he was in a hurry. Very excellent bed time manners. I really enjoy visiting him although it meant 6 different shots to draw blood. He has my life in his hands and he makes me feel very secure with this arrangement. HE deserves and atta boy.

I feel the Dr. is very knowledgeable and to this point I trust his judgement. I do feel sometimes that minimal time has been spent evaluating my current condition which seems to lead to mixed/different messages each visit with regards to future plans and future treatment plans. It seems the entire clinic seems to be a bit overwhelmed at times as I have to routinely send multiple message reminders of labs/appointments/medication that have not been ordered. I completely understand that I am not the only patient and that they serve many patients, many that are currently worse off than me, But I feel that if I'm not completely on top of every aspect of my scheduling/medication/etc that things may slip through the cracks. I worry about happens if my health deteriorates in the future and I'm unable to be so vigilant with being on top of things. That all being said I feel it is a trustworthy, knowledge & caring staff that is doing the best they can with a large patient load. I have been dealt a unfavorable diagnosis at an age that I have a young family counting on me to stay in their lives. Understandably I just want to make sure that my medical team as well as myself don't miss a step and do everything possible to keep me in my family's lives as long as possible. I do feel I'm at the right place for that.

In for diagnosis of a possible blood disorder so with a hematologist/oncologist. Such an excellent specialist! Put my mind at ease giving me the data needed accurately. So thorough 16 lab tests! Very personable; yet to the point. Went home armed with new knowledge; not afraid to face the future. Thank you Froedtert!
