About

I was born and raised in Appleton, WI. After graduating from St. Norbert College in De Pere, WI, I attended the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, IL. After completing my four year Podiatric Medical Degree, I entered residency at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare - Milwaukee, WI. During my residency I received extensive training for foot and ankle conditions. This included complex deformity and rearfoot reconstruction. I am excited to continue to give back to the community in which I have trained.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Julie. I also enjoy playing soccer, basketball, and hiking.

Dr Brian Fisher is a lovely physician who explains things clinically and throughly (I left with a better understanding of how to read MRIs which I greatly appreciate). He shows genuine care and honestly almost made me cry he was so nice (but I didn'tI kept my shit together for once :). Anyway of all the specialists I have to see he Is one I never have anxiety over having to make an appt with. To his boss give that man a FAT raise.

This is regarding Dr.Fischer & nurse I assume. Dr, answered my questions & concerns & his nurse very nice also.
Dr. Fischer was serious about educating me about my condition, and I feel empowered to make the right decisions at the right time because of it.
Dr Fischer explained in clear language and pictures what my problems are. He gave good instructions about the plan for improvement. He answered all my questions and didn't rush me.
From check in to walking out the door, the team worked like a well oiled machine. I was taken back right away. After getting my vitals, there was less than a minute wait til the doctor walked in the room. Next came the x-rays. After the x-rays, the doctor was back in the room telling and showing me what was found. The whole team was very respectful of my time. They were all pleasant and informative. Great appointment!

Awesome experience
Dr. Brian Fischer is top notch. I find him to be very professional, informative and confident. He anticipated my concerns and spoke to me about them before I had a chance to bring them up. He even wanted to know how the staff treated me at the Oak Creek Surgical Center. Its a little early yet, but I believe he fixed my botched toe fusion to which I am eternally grateful. I would recommend Dr. Fischer, Springdale Health Center and Drexel location in a heartbeat. Im so pleased and feel like I was in good hands!! Id also like to say that both facilities were extremely clean.
Some confusion initially. Staff sent me for an xray. At xray, no order. Waited while contacted Dr to find out no xray needed and sent back to physician office. Dr Fisher is kind, compassionate and thorough. Would highly recommend. Puts patients at ease and appreciated his sense of humor.

Personable Dr
Both the X-ray technician, Nursing, assistant and Dr. Fischer were excellent. I felt listened to and given a clear consultation. The front desk staff was the most efficient experience I ever had! X-Ray technician was so super nice, easy to work with and Dr. Fischer was a great communicator and addressed any and all questions I had.
I really appreciate that Dr F takes plenty of time with me, explaining how my healing is going and thoroughly answering all the questions I had. He is friendly, light hearted and a good communicator and I appreciate all of this qualities.
