It is a privilege to get to know patients and their families. What initially attracted me to the combined specialty of Internal Medicine & Pediatrics was the opportunity to see patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors. I enjoy working together with my patients to understand their individual goals, to help educate them regarding their health, and to develop a treatment plan to meet their needs. I also enjoy developing relationships with children as they grow and partnering with their parents to keep them healthy and safe.

About

Dr. Meister was born and raised in the Milwaukee area. She attended Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL, for undergraduate training, and also received a graduate degree in Intercultural Studies. She completed medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin, and continued her residency training there as well in combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. She enjoys spending time with her family, as well as cooking and gardening.

Was very grateful that my health concern was addressed so quickly, thought I would be told I had to wait for an appointment. Having the chance to do a virtual visit with Dr. Meister was such a welcomed option. I have recommended Dr. Meister and the Calhoun Clinic to many of my friends and family members.
Staff in office and lab were fabulous. This was my first time in this clinic and with this Dr. It was PJDay for staff. Very fun. Great to see their energy
Even though I feel foolish, at 65 yrs old, going to a "pediatrician", I am very comfortable with Dr. Meister.
The meetings was a friendly and informal but get to the point on the matter what we needed to discuss was successfully completed.

Dr Meister is wonderful with our daughter. She makes her feel comfortable and positive. Dr Meister always addresses any concerns or questions we have fully, and she is very knowledgeable. My favorite thing about seeing her is the questions she asks. They take into consideration all the facets of my daughter's health: physical, mental, and emotional. Her nurse's assistant was lovely with our daughter as well. She made her laugh and my daughter was willing to do whatever they needed her to with no problem at all. I always look forward to our well checks with Dr Meister because I leave feeling reassured, informed, and ready for whatever next steps are coming.

After speaking with the nurse about my concerns about my daughter, she gave me advice and said appts were available for tomorrow so I called back and told the scheduler who was able to find an appointment the next morning. This made me feel so much better and was thankful the nurse Mentioned this originally.
