It is a privilege to get to know patients and their families. What initially attracted me to the combined specialty of Internal Medicine & Pediatrics was the opportunity to see patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors. I enjoy working together with my patients to understand their individual goals, to help educate them regarding their health, and to develop a treatment plan to meet their needs. I also enjoy developing relationships with children as they grow and partnering with their parents to keep them healthy and safe.

About

Dr. Meister was born and raised in the Milwaukee area. She attended Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL, for undergraduate training, and also received a graduate degree in Intercultural Studies. She completed medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin, and continued her residency training there as well in combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. She enjoys spending time with her family, as well as cooking and gardening.

Dr. Meister is the absolute best PCP. I have seen her for many years and my husband and 2 children see her as well. She thorough, kind, dedicated to her patients, and highly intelligent. She is the best!

I do wish your clinic had access to Xrays and blood tests so that could be done right away if needed. Having to go somewhere else on a different day/time is not convenient but I love the doctor and staff so I try to keep that I mond
I feel very comfortable at the Calhoun clinic. I get very nervous days before my appt and always come away feeling very good about my interactions. The lab people are always super nice. The mammogram technician was amazing. Very patient and went out of her way to make me feel comfortable. And my doctor is wonderful. She shows concern, listens well and is so nice.
Dr.Meister was up-to-date on my many specialist visits. She reassured me about referrals within the Froedtert System.

This was my first appt with Dr Meister, establishing care & having a physical. She was very thorough and kind. She took a lot of time obtaining my history and making sure that I keep up with the appropriate screenings, etc.
Each year when I visit for my annual exam, I always feel Doctor Meister and other staff listen well, offer useful recommendations, and follow-up. Next year, I may schedule my blood work at the same time I schedule my mammogram so that the doctor may review the results and discuss them with me. I have work to do on my cholesterol :)
