About
My clinical interests include the diagnosis, treatment, and management of colorectal diseases of all kind, including colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticulitis and anorectal problems. I have special training and interests in the treatment of colorectal malignancies, including advanced colon and rectal cancers, sphincter-preserving surgery, recurrent cancers and peritoneal metastases, as well as carcinoid tumors, heritable colorectal cancer syndromes, and anal cancer. My research interests include evaluating the patient-centered outcomes after surgery for rectal cancers, including the functional outcomes and the impact of minimally invasive and robotic techniques.
