What I enjoy most about family medicine is the longitudinal care I experience with my patients. Seeing a patient continuously over time is not only rewarding, but fun to experience. I recognize the importance of tackling the multiple aspects that affect a patient’s life and, in turn, their short-term and long-term physical and mental wellbeing.
Medicine is more than just treatment. I believe medical care should be a partnership between the patient and the doctor. Medicine is about health education, mental wellbeing, building connections, and being able to place myself in my patient’s shoes. By listening and communicating with my patients, I hope to address all of these issues and more.

About
I was born in Chicago and grew up in the suburb of Naperville along with my three younger sisters and a large extended family. Staying close by, I attended Northwestern University obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and studied global heath abroad in South Africa. After working and volunteering in several areas of health care including dentistry, optometry, nursing home care, reproductive endocrinology, and orthopaedics, I completed my medical degree at American University of the Caribbean in St. Maarten. Besides medicine, my passion in life is music. I love to sing anywhere and anytime I am able. I was a member of the Apollo Chorus of Chicago for five years and sang at various community events, as well as weddings. Going along with that theme is my love for Disney movies, old musicals, and the performing arts. My other exciting adventures include traveling to Colorado to see more family whenever I can, skiing, camping, and watching Netflix with friends.
