Having said that, with more than 30 years experience, I understand the importance of offering my recommendations to patients, and am not afraid to do so. During those 30 years, I have been a witness to, and a participant in, great changes in medicine, to include a greater reliance on data and technology, a transition to hospital specialists rendering care to inpatients, and the incorporation of electronic health records. Through it all, I remain steadfast in my belief that a human connection to a primary physician is a critical element to effective, helpful medical care; I believe medicine is best practiced when embraced as a calling, not just as a transactional relationship.

About
I was born, raised and educated in Milwaukee, so my Wisconsin roots run deep. My Air Force experience includes an extended, remote tour in support of Operation Desert Storm. I have remained active within the Veteran community through my support of Stars and Stripes Honor Flight. I have had the privilege of serving the residents of Ozaukee County and surrounding areas for over 27 years as a Primary Care/Internal Medicine Physician. Cheri and I look forward to spending time with our children, grandchildren, and extended families in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Colorado and I acknowledge that I owe my family a debt of gratitude for allowing me to practice medicine. Favorite activities include tennis, fishing, golf, skiing, dog-walking, yard work and biking.
