He was very thorough once he got I to the room.

My husband and I were very pleased with the amount of time that Dr. Mooney gave us. He went over and above to address some of my husband's concerns (as well as mine) since he was hospitalized last week for several days. Dr. Mooney gave us important preliminary test results from a bone marrow biopsy that we were concerned about. This definitely put our mind at ease!

Dr. Mooney takes very good care of me. I have confidence in my treatment plan.

Dr. Mooney is very professional and empathetic. He explained everything for my understanding and answered all my questions and concerns. I have complete confidence in Dr. Mooney.

We very much appreciated the time and the degree to which Dr. Mooney talked with us, gave us details and clarification. And listened to our thoughts and desire about pursuing another course of treatment. A metabolic approach to cancer. We would be interested in working with Dr. Mooney should we decide to use chemotherapy along with the metabolic approach. If he would be open to that possibility. I can see why many patients choose to work with Dr. Mooney.

Dr. Mooney and I had a heart-to-heart talk about the benefits and drawbacks of continuing on my current medication. I like the fact that he didn't sugarcoat anything during that discussion. He was very straightforward and pragmatic - quite refreshing and actually empowering in many ways. I think those qualities are especially valuable in an oncologist. Dr. Mooney also suggested a number of ways I could improve upon my self-care in order to remain healthy in the future.
