Hands are essential for daily function. When issues arise it can be very frustrating. Each patient’s lifestyle and functional requirements are unique, and treatment is always tailored to the individual. I believe patients need to be educated about the problem so they can participate in the decision making process. A majority of problems can be treated nonsurgically. Occasionally, surgery may be the best treatment option. Whatever the treatment plan, I am committed to working with patients to achieve the best possible outcome.

About

I grew up in Plymouth, Wisconsin and attended the University of Notre Dame for my undergraduate education. I completed my medical school and orthopedic surgery residency in Chicago. I then continued my training with a hand surgery fellowship at the world-renowned Mary S. Stern Hand Surgery Fellowship in Cincinnati, Ohio. After finishing my medical training, I wanted to return to home to Wisconsin to practice. My family of seven currently lives in Kohler, Wisconsin.

I specialize in the comprehensive treatment of hand and wrist disorders, offering both nonsurgical and surgical treatment options. I provide care for common upper extremity problems, such as carpal tunnel syndrome and arthritis, as well as complex hand and wrist disorders. I consider it a great privilege to work with patients and get them back to their daily lives.

Most of my time outside of medicine is spent enjoying the chaos of raising five active kids and attending all of their sporting events. I also enjoy golf and lake life with the family.

I have had excellent care by the everyone that was involved with my care.
Dr is very kind & care, listens well, offers treatment but will to discuss other options to try first if your not ready for procedures.
It was a extremely informative appointment. The Dr explained 3 different avenues I can do to help with my issue. Each avenue was explained in-depth; Pro's and Cons, ..... I am very pleased with the Overall Experience!!! Worth the Drive!!!
Never went to this doctor before but we were very impressed on how great the doctor and crew were.
Really glad I had the appt.
My only concern was that in the initial intake with the LPN, the records showed the WRONG hand. We did take X-Rays of the correct hand and she corrected the record. It left me feeling a little concerned as that's a big thing to get wrong, but obviously you have systems in place to correct those errors. I understand that. This was initial visit, so the latter questions about instructions, home care, etc. Don't apply at this stage. I thought the doctor was excellent, and his written case notes exceptional.
I was able to schedule an appointment in a short time. Appointment was on time and very quick and efficient.
Care was very professional and polite.
First time patient in the clinic and am very pleased
Dr. Mikolyzik and staff are awesome!
Dr answered my questions. Gave me my options for treatment and what we will do to follow through on treatment.
That was the best experience I have ever had from Holy Family. I left feeling very happy and confident going foward with my surgery.
Great care
Outstanding service by Nurse and Dr Mikolyzik
Felt that I given time to voice concerns especially through my thought process, which is gettin slower
I arrived a half hour early for my appointment, said I was willing to wait I know I was there early. I was called into the room within five minutes saw the nurse and the doctor and was out of there in 25 minutes. Prior to my actual appointment. Service was awesome
Everyone we encountered today was excellent. We appreciated how they talked directly to our 9 year old; I think that made her feel better
