Dr. Douros currently serves in the following team capacities:

Dr. Douros has also spoken at numerous conferences regionally and nationally about sports injuries. He has also participated in educational seminars teaching advanced techniques to orthopaedic residents and fellows. His active research interests include hip, knee, and baseball specific sports injuries and treatments.

He is double board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and Surgical Sports Medicine. He is a member of the International Society of Hip Arthroscopy, American Orthopaedic Society of Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery.

Although my condition is extremely rare, they were all very informative and eager to help push me in the right direction.
The doctor was really good at explaining what was wrong to me and showing me the x rays to aid in the explanation. He was also great at laying out my options and explaining them to me.

I came to see Dr Douros as 2nd opinion on my hip pain. He was very thorough in his review od my scans/xrays to confirm minimally invasive as not good solution and that hip replacement was needed. I will continue that process with my other surgeon who had already did my double knee replacements b
