Denise S. Uyar, MD

Dr. Uyar is not only knowledgeable but caring, she explained to me the standard treatment of care and also then indulged my desire for an alternative option. For a doctor to acknowledge a patient's feelings and thoughts means a lot. When you are given a diagnosis such as cancer, you often feel like you've loss all control so the ability to have a say in your plan of care is paramount.

This was a first meeting with this doctor. I found her to be kind, efficient, patient and helpful. She really helped me through the exam and my nervousness. She is awesome, BRAVO!

As much as one hates to be a patient at the cancer center, Dr. Uyar makes it not as bad. She and her staff are always professional, and yet very compassionate. That makes all the difference, when you feel someone cares about you.

Professor Denise Uyar MD was very caring and took her time to provide reassurance. Nurse Renee was nice, sympathetic, and thorough.

Dr Uyar has been providing oncology care for me beginning 2016. She has been very kind and has competently managed my care through two bouts of a metatstic cancer. I trust her. I couldnt ask for more and I feel blessed to have her navigating this cancer journey with me.
