Every patient has a voice and deserves to be heard and cared for. My goal is to provide effective and evidence-based medical care to my patients in order to manage both acute and chronic conditions, and to improve both qulity and duration of life. I also believe in developing and utilizing new medical technologies to help us provide better, safer, and faster care to our patients, with a particular interest in point-of-care ultrasonography. I care for patients in the Pulmonary Clinic, where I specialize in the management of interstitial lung disease and pulmonary fibrosis, and perform pulmonary procedures such as bronchoscopy. I also care for critically ill patients within the Medical Intensive Care Unit.

Listens to me well with my concerns.
Dr. Ryan was awesome. He thoroughly reviewed my records before my first exam. He spent so much time with me, especially listening carefully. Answered questions my last pulmonologist avoided. Ordered tests that no one else had considered (allergist, pulmonologist), and took into consideration my extreme claustrophobia for future testing. I have already referred him to someone else. I am so very happy I transferred to him. His expertise, kindness and communication skills are superior to my previous physician in this expertise. .

Dr. Ryan was fantastic. He had thoroughly reviewed my chart and discussed his concerns and thoughts about my symptoms. He was understanding and listened to everything I had to say.
