Dr Fareau and I noticed a test result that was notably different than usual. He was prepared when I arrived to address the result, explained the rationale behind the unique test result (newly automated processing system) and took it a step to confirm the results are in line (had my blood run on the old equipment). Having him take this extra step and be open about why it was different gave me confidence that he is aware of factors that would impact a patient, did the work prior to my appointment to alleviate that concern, and approached the challenge directly. No sugar coating. It's this approach that makes me value our partnership in keeping me cancer free.

Yes; when coming out of anesthesia my name was called very CALMLY. This was very comforting to me. Past surgeries with non-Froedert providers shouted my name when coming out of anesthesia. That was disturbing.

Dr. Fareau is the greatest! Such a reassuring physician and truly cares about his patients!

The nurse or LPN the day I was there did say she was filling in and didn't seem to know some things. Dr. Fareau was behind but no one told me ahead of time, but thankfully he was very apologetic. I greatly appreciate Dr. Fareau and all his & Froedtert's efforts to help me with me not having a thyroid after thyroid cancer.

Dr. Fareau is an exceptional physician - incredibly knowledgeable, professional, compassionate, personable, and approachable. He listens and takes time to hear me and answer questions, He explains things in a way I can understand with no condescension. I wish the medical community could clone him - he's one of the best physicians I've ever had.
