About

Dr. Jensen's area of expertise is working with individuals who have significant hearing loss and who are interested in implantable technologies including cochlear implants and bone conduction implants.

Dr. Jensen joined the Koss Cochlear Implant Program at the Medical College of Wisconsin after earning her Clinical Doctorate in Audiology from Vanderbilt University. She completed a year-long internship at Boys Town National Research Hospital in Omaha, NE before joining MCW. She began her career with the Koss Cochlear Implant Program coordinating the clinical research program and then transitioned to clinical audiology. She currently works primarily with our adult patients, but continues to be an active member of the research team.

Dr. Jensen strives to maximize each patient's hearing potential through the use of cochlear or bone conduction implants in one or both ears as well as use of a hearing aid in the non-implanted ear. Her clinical interests include aging and patient performance with cochlear implants and the effect aural rehabilitation has on patient outcomes with cochlear implants.

I would recommend Dr Jamie to everyone
Very pleased with professionalism and my experience.
Jamie Jensen is always very accessible and approachable. I enjoy working with her.
Jamie was beyond thorough, knowledgeable, caring, and helped me through each step of the process I experienced. I felt as though I was truly in the best care.
Jamie Jensen is the best!
All concerns addressed. Wait time for NP could have been shorter.
Jamie Jensen had a student in training to do my two N8 CI mappings. I noticed a significant reduction in the volume of the test words and sentences. Past hearing test mappings were louder. I mentioned it during testing but no changes were made. Jamie was supervising the entire time. I don't feel that the testing parameters and equipment settings are consistent. Jamie usually asks if the test volume is comfortable when word and sentence testing starts.
Jamie was amazing! She is so kind, explains everything well, and takes time to answer questions! I highly recommend Jamie!
Dr. Jensen was absolutely excellent. She listened to me so well and made the adjustments I needed. So very helpful. Could not have better. So grateful for her expertise and care.
Jamie is very knowledgeable, approachable and helpful.
Every appointment exceeds my expectations. Thanks to all.
Dr Jensen made sure I both understood and had a role in decisions related to my care.
Jamie went above and beyond to make sure I was happy
Jamie is the best!!!
Dr. Jamie. Jensen was thorough in explaining the cochlear hearing tests before we started. I knew what to expect since I have seen her for about 15 years. She allayed my concern about my implant since the company is changing the procedure in 2026. I recommend her to people who wonder whether or not to get an implant.
Jamie always answers all my questions fully in a manner that is easy to understand.
Its a long journey down from Upper Michigan to see Jamie but Its always worth the trip. Jamie always greets you with a smile. .She has answers to all my questions and makes necessary changes to my processor so that I can communicate better..
