Part of my role as a nurse practitioner is to serve as an educator to my patients. If I can create an environment that my patients feel comfortable to ask questions, I can be a resource for them. I strongly believe that one’s own healthcare is best when a patient feels educated regarding their care. When the necessary teaching and resources are provided, a patient can truly take control of their own healthcare. When an individual is in control of their own healthcare, outcomes are more positive. Patients are in charge of their health and as healthcare providers we provide the necessary tools for success.

I have always lived in southeastern Wisconsin and this is also where I began my healthcare career. My family and I enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors. In my spare time I enjoy reading.

Great care and communication

My provider listened, and suggested a test which we did, walked me through the procedure, showed me the video from the procedure and explained everything. Talked through medications and possible therapy options. I left the office with a diagnosis and the ability to contact her If I had any questions/concerns. It was honestly one of the better appointments I've ever had, was very happy with my care and would definitely recommend.
