Very satisfying visit

Dr. John Neilson is one of the orthopedic surgeons that make Froedtert a top US ranked hospital. Although my medical conditions were numerous, he operated with great care and precision over many hours. He led an experienced team and coordinated with numerous specialists and caregivers throughout my stay, all the while respecting my personal beliefs and wishes. My family and I are most grateful for his skill, and for the honesty and integrity he delivered in my care.

They have always been very good, friendly and knowledgeable.

The care and support that my surgical team has offered me, from my first visit through my follow-ups, has been exemplary

Dr. Neilson was straight forward about what I need to do before the surgery. I am a smoker and was told I need to quit before so the healing process is better.

For my first time going to Froedtert, I was pleasantly impressed with their kindness and care.

Dr Neilson was extremely informative. We looked back at problems and ahead for the future healing process. He answered questions and because I have good insurance, I know I can access additional PT etc. If necessary. We explored possible complications, any possible restrictions, use of medications, backing off medications and orthotic needs. I wish Froedtert offered additional education or a support group for those who have complications due to scoliosis or are living with it.

All the attention was very good and the staff very friendly very good job of the staff and attention for my son

Excellent care all around. Very pleased. You have the top Doctors and care.

If you want less waiting times you need to schedule for mornings. You do a good job caring and treating for your patients. Generally seems like he cares for the work he does. Would recommend this doctor or surgeon.

The PA was attentive and very thorough. I asked a question and he got actual parts they use for hip replacement. Xray tech was nice. Dr Nielsen explained xray and gave me chance to ask questions. Great team. Great appointment. Have great faith that hip replacement & team will be successful. The PA & Dr Nielson were very concerned abuut me and wanted me to feel confident and in the know.

Dr. Neilson is, and has always been, professional, warm and friendly. I sincerely appreciate my visits with him and would recommend him to anyone.

I'm was nervous about my appointment but everyone made me feel comfortable and relaxed, allowed questions and never made me feel rushed. I felt I was the only patient there and the focus was only on me.
