About
Dr. José Franco is currently Professor of Medicine and Senior Associate Dean for Education in the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from MCW where he also completed a Residency in Internal Medicine and a Fellowship in Gastroenterology. In addition, he completed a liver transplant fellowship at the University of Nebraska. He has been a faculty member since 1995. Dr. Franco is board certified in Gastroenterology as well as Transplant Hepatology. His clinical interests include liver disease, cirrhosis, and liver transplantation and he currently sees patients at Froedtert Hospital and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
