About
Dr. Wanner attended and graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin with honors. After medical school, he completed a residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he served as chief resident his final year. To continue his advanced training in spine surgery, Dr. Wanner completed a fellowship in spine surgery at The Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH. His fellowship was a combined orthopaedic and neurosurgical fellowship as he trained under nationally recognized orthopaedic spine and neurosurgery spine surgeons.
Dr. Wanner has published numerous research articles in national and international journals and has a particular interest in understanding and treating complex spinal disorders. When not in the hospital, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and children.
