Dr. Kathleen Christians specializes in surgical oncology and minimally invasive surgery (robotic and laparoscopic), with special emphasis on treatment of malignant and benign diseases of the liver, pancreas, biliary tree and gastrointestinal tract. Dr. Christians is Service Chief of Surgical Oncology GI Service, Co-director of the HPB Fellowship Program and her research interests focus on personalized cancer care and outcomes research in cancer.

I was extremely impressed with Dr. Christian's expertise, knowledge and bedside manners. She appeared very concerned about my situation and really listened to me. I think she exactly knew how stressed I was about this large tumor. She gave me several options and took it to the tumor board. I can't thank her enough for her treatment plan.
