About

Dr. Kayla Sanders obtained her B.S.E in Communicative Disorders from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2007 and then her Au.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and Madison Con-sortium Program in 2011. She has over 10 years of experience working at large ENT practices. She has been with the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin health network since 2015, providing diagnostic hearing evaluations, hearing aid evaluations and fittings, evoked potential testing and specializing in tinnitus and hyperacusis. In 2016, she attended an extensive training on tinnitus management with the Tinnitus Practitioners Association, and in 2019 she received training on Tinnitus Retraining Therapy (TRT) directly from its developer, Dr. Pawel Jastreboff. She also attends audiology conferences regularly in order to continue expanding her tinnitus and hyperacusis knowledge.

Dr. Sanders enjoys engaging with the community and presenting on topics about the ears, hearing aids and tinnitus. She also enjoys participating in career fairs throughout southeastern Wisconsin, where she engages in discussions about the field of audiology with elementary to high school aged students. She believes it is important for patients to be active participants in their care and treatment of hearing loss, tinnitus and hyperacusis. She is passionate about helping her patients improve their quality of life through a patient-centered approach. She believes it is important to stay up-to-date on the latest audiology research and cutting edge hearing aid technology available for her patients in order to provide them with the best care possible.
