About
Dr. Kunal Gupta specializes in the open and minimally invasive treatment of movement disorders and epilepsy. He graduated with distinction from the University of Cambridge, England. Dr. Gupta trained at Oregon Health & Science University, and completed a fellowship in epilepsy and functional neurosurgery at Emory University, focusing on deep brain stimulation (DBS), stereoelectroencephalography (SEEG) and minimally-invasive laser therapy (LITT) for epilepsy. He actively pursues his research interests, investigating new methods to treat epilepsy and advancing novel surgical techniques. Dr. Gupta’s research work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals, including Epilepsia, PNAS, Journal of Neurosurgery, Neuroscience Letters, and Cell Death and Differentiation.
