Laura Glass Umfleet, PsyD, ABPP, is a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist and associate professor of neurology (division of neuropsychology). She completed her internship in Clinical Psychology at the University of Florida and her post-doctoral fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She specializes in the neuropsychological evaluation of adults with neurologic/neurobehavioral disorders, memory disorders, and head trauma. Her background includes research focusing on the investigation of various psychometric properties of the Wechsler intellectual scales, performance on selected neuropsychological measures in patient populations (e.g., memory disorders and Parkinson’s disease), and examining early biomarkers of Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative conditions. Her work has been presented at national conferences and published in peer-reviewed professional journals.
