Dr. Michaelis is the most conscientious physicians I've encountered. She is incredibly compassionate about patient status and exploring evidence based treatment options to manage and minimize symptoms burden. I commute some distance, approximately a 3 hour drive, for ongoing care, treatment and monitoring. I have zero issues with the commute. This is a testament to care provided. I consider myself fortunate to continue ongoing care with Dr. Michaelis. I have gained insight about my condition thanks to Dr. Michaelis taking time necessary to ensure that I understand what I'm experiencing and my role in plan of care. This has resulted in lessening of health related anxieties. Much appreciation from a grateful patient of Dr. Michaelis Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin.

Aware of and sensitive to the financial burden that a patient can bear these days. Dr. Michaelis is also responsive to the other conditions affecting me and offers assistance in addressing them if I, as her patient, feel that another doctor isn't being responsive enough. Dr. Michaelis always keeps me up to date with field trials, what's been approved, etc.

This was an appointment for second opinion and initial consultation. Dr. Michaelis reviewed necessary diagnostic pathology reports to confirm specific diagnosis. She took the time to educate me about diagnosis, risk, prognosis and treatment. I traveled some distance for this appointment and could not have been more impressed with care. I was diagnosed in mid February 2019. Almost 9 months later, thanks to Dr. Michaelis, I now understand the diagnosis, treatment and goal of treatment. I will continue to receive ongoing care and monitoring with Froedtert Clinical Cancer Center.
