My training and experience help to ensure that my patients benefit from the multi-disciplinary, goal-directed approach that is at the core of palliative medicine. Anticipating the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual burdens that come with serious illness allows me to help diminish their impact. Lee Ann Lau, MD is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin in the Division of Geriatric and Palliative Medicine, specializing in hospice and palliative medicine. She completed residency training in General Surgery and practiced as a general and trauma surgeon for 13 years prior to completing a fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine in 2021. Her interests include integration of palliative medicine with surgical care and resident education.
