About

Since joining the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2002, Dr. Santo Tomas has led teams tasked to improve patient care and outcomes for hospital and clinic patients. Though he sees a wide variety of respiratory diseases, colleagues in pulmonary medicine have particularly sought his assistance and second opinion on patients with work-related lung disease, interstitial lung disease and pulmonary complications in hematopoietic stem cell transplant patients. He has been voted by his peers to the Best Doctors list every year since 2005.

Wonderful experience and concern about my priblemst
This was my first office visit with pulmonologist Dr. Santo Tomas & first encounter with the Froedtert-MCW health system. My Aurora pulmonologist retired and Dr. Santo Tomas was "suggested" as a highly qualified physician which agreed with my independent prior research. Dr. Santo Tomas had detailed understanding of my background and we discussed appropriate medications & doses going forward. He thankfully realized that dosage was low/inappropriate for a key medication I had just started days before the office visit. I feel very confident that Dr. Santo Tomas will help address some of the issues I have been experiencing and improve my health.
Dr. Santo Tomas is monitoring me very carefully for my lung issues. He is thorough and very good at seeing the whole picture to best guide my treatment.
