I don't think that you can overstate the importance of partnership in the doctor-patient relationship. Establishing trust by providing genuine, personalized care is where everything starts. This is what I strive to do for all my patients.
I chose to practice primary care because I enjoy building long-term relationships focused on maximizing and maintaining health. To provide the best care, strong medical knowledge paired with warm authenticity, the patience to listen and learn, and the ability to educate to equip my patients with the confidence to take ever more charge of their health.
As a combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics doctor, I have the privilege to deliver this type of care to patients of all ages, and even to see multiple generations within the same family. The opportunity to meet, learn from, and help improve the health of people of all ages in our community is what makes me happy.

About

I have spent my life and completed my education entirely within the Southeastern Wisconsin region. I am a Wisconsinite through and through and a proud Brewers, Packers and Bucks fan. I attended Wisconsin Lutheran High School before graduating from Wisconsin Lutheran College. From there, I attended the Medical College of Wisconsin for medical school and after this, remained close by to complete my Internal Medicine-Pediatrics combined residency through MCW.

Outside of the office, I love to travel, read, spend time with family, fish, and cheer on our hometown sports clubs.

I recently had to change from a doctor I was very pleased with and found Dr Luke Schroeder who has been every bit as good.
This doctor was so awesome, so nice, very smart, and I could tell he really cared about my health even though he only met me once! 10/10 guy
Dr. Luke is always so detailed and educational to us. Always provides us with reassurance and encouragement which is super helpful as first time parents. He does a detailed exam on our daughter and talks through what he is doing and explains why. We are so happy to have him as our daughters physician!
Dr. Shroeder was very thorough and professional. He took as much time as needed to gather all relevant health history information and listen to my concerns and questions. A refreshing change from my former provider at Ascension.
