About
Mary Ellen Csuka, MD, FACP, Professor of Medicine in the Division of Rheumatology, graduated from the New York Medical College in 1977 and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at The Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Conn. In 1980, Dr. Csuka joined MCW as a general internist. In 1986, she became board-certified in rheumatology and joined the Division of Rheumatology. Dr. Csuka established the Froedtert MCW Scleroderma clinic, which is recognized by the Scleroderma Foundation as a Research and Treatment Center since 2013.
She has a long-standing interest and commitment to the prevention and treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis. Her medical expertise and training in rheumatology and geriatrics allow her to serve as a clinical resource for her colleagues at MCW and in the community. She has been a presenter at the Wisconsin Update in Geriatric Medicine since its inception. She has received numerous grants, awards and contracts and is an invited lecturer locally, nationally, and internationally.
