everyone was great
Sept. 22, 2019
I had a necessary spine surgery. Main concern was the pain in my feet & lower legs that I had hoped would address the severe pain I feel. I understand that the nerves run down my spinal column and that nerves were being compressed (which could have been causing my problems). However, the Dr. was more concerned about the Rx than actually discussing the pain associated with my situation. The surgery may have been beneficial for the nerves but I still have not had any relief from my foot/lower leg pain. This was not discussed other than the MA stating that the feet are the last things to heal properly. Dr. didn't address this. His recommendation...see a pain specialist. Vague comment about "with my history" (nothing specific stated). I don't know how much about my "history" the physician really knows as he did not go over that with me. I made an appt. to revisit in 3 mos. but in reality, Dr. appeared pretty indifferent and was more concerned with my Rx (I suspect likely due to political/professional pressures) Not a great feeling coming out of the office. May be a good surgeon, but greatly lacking in sensitivity and appropriate communication skills

I have been a patient of Dr Lee's for several years. Dr. Lee is trying to help me avoid the very severe surgery that may be necessary. Besides being a great doctor, he is also a really kind and good person.
